Tax Semi-Senior/Senior

Based in the Corporate Tax Office in Salisbury

Reporting to Manager/Director

You will conduct the following as part of your daily remit:

  • Handling daily correspondence
  • Preparing corporation tax returns/collating information
  • Submitting return to client and HMIT
  • Dealing with Inland Revenue Enquiries 
  • Organisation/delegation of compliance work
  • Train/supervise junior staff
  • Involvement in the administrative affairs of the department
  • Ensure all filing deadlines and time limits are met
  • Ensure corporation tax compliance procedures are followed 
  • Attend relevant courses i.e. accounting
  • Improve technical knowledge
  • Increase non compliance work to improve on the job training

You will have 2-3 years relevant experience and be qualified either as ACA or CTA The role will be a mixture of corporate and personal tax work with an approximate 80/20 split in workload. A flexible attitude is essential, along with the ability to support colleagues in their endeavours.
