Financial Planning Manager

Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for gathering and consolidating complex information/analysis and subsequent presentation to senior management of monthly reporting packs for a number of departments internally. In addition you produce schedule of investment projects, financial and trend analysis.

You will need to be ideally a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or ACMA) but a finalist or very well experienced QBE would be considered.  As this is a pivotal role within the finance team, you will need to be assertive and have good inter-personal skills as you will have contact with all levels of staff

Financial Accountant

Barclays are seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) to handle the relationship between one of their key businesses and the service operation and whilst you will need to be technically strong to review monthly and statutory accounts, you will also need to have strong interpersonal qualities to manage the relationship between both areas. In addition, you will need to have a high degree of professionalism and IT skills.

Group Relationship Manager

Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Senior Relationship Manager for Barclays Bank - one of the South Coast's well known blue chip banking operations.

You will have responsibility for the management of the relationship between the Shared Service Centre and internal business units acting as the point of contact for the business, resolving any issues relating to the service delivery, supporting the business with non-routine accounting matters and liaising with experts on more complex issues.  In addition you would act as Deputy to the Head of Relationship Management and have a team of up to 10 professionals reporting so you will need to have an inspirational approach and the ability to manage, coach, train and develop these individuals.

You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong post qualified experience within either banking, financial services or other large blue chip organisation.  Above average benefits are offered: pension, car allowance, health cover and good bonus.

Operational Support Accountant

You would have responsibility for providing financial expertise within the business and manage a small team of other technical experts.  You would have business liaison and also be involved with change management projects and technical reviews.

You will need to be Fully Qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) and have good experience of financial/management accounting, able to build and maintain good internal relationships, the ability to deal with complex financial queries and ideally the knowledge to initiate and develop process improvements.

Financial Accountant

This is a new position which would have responsibility for establishing and managing the fixed asset control for the group, recruiting a team of staff, ensuring compliance with financial governance and the accuracy of processing and validating the information processed.

You will have management responsibilities for recruiting and developing a small team of up to 10 staff, managing the SOX processes relating to this key area, providing analysis to support projects and iniatives and ensuring that Fixed Asset requirements are fully represented with regard to system developments.

You will need to have strong financial control and fixed asset processing experience, be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA), have experience of SOX and ideally experience of SAP and the financial services industry.

Accounts Assistant

Hudson Cooper is recruiting a Financial Accounts Assistant for Barclays based in Poole.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you will either be studying AAT and have a couple of years experience in an accounts department, alternatively will be a recent graduate (min 2,i) of Finance/Accountancy or Maths. Graduates with placement years will have a distinct advantage.

Your duties will include reconciliations and other financial administration.
