
Assistant Manager
Based in the Corporate Tax Office in Salisbury
Reporting to Manager/Director
You will conduct the following as part of your daily remit:
- Completing personal and corporate Returns, business computations and Lloyds compliance work.
- Assisting partners in one-off projects.
- Ensuring S&W procedures on annual tax cycle are complied with Billing.
- Supervising team:
- Reviewing compliance work produced by those in team.
- Reviewing post out of those in team.
- Monitoring staff performance and do junior appraisals.
- Overseeing an aspect of tax cycle for whole department eg. P35/P11D completion:
- This would include drafting instructions and monitoring progress, reading, practice and courses.
- Assist partners with marketing activities, suggest new ideas/approaches.
ATII qualified; technically able to support staff and partners; ACA or ACCA would be an advantage
